Announcement on 2025 Joint-Symposium on Mechanics of Advanced Materials & Structures (JSMAMS)
The 8th Joint-Symposium on Mechanics of Advanced Materials & Structures (JSMAMS 2025) is the successor of the First, the Second, the Third, the Fourth, the Fifth conferences, the Sixth and the Seventh held at Harbin Institute of Technology in 2010, Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2011, Zhejiang University in 2013, Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2015, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2017, Shizuoka University in 2019 and Southwest Jiaotong University in 2023, respectively. JSMAMS 2025 will be held at the “RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto” during November 28 – December 1, 2025, Kyoto, Japan.
This symposium will provide a forum for researchers to exchange ideas, establish relationships, present their newest findings and learn the latest achievements in theoretical and applied mechanics of advanced materials and structures.

The deadline is Jul. 31, 2025.
For your convenience, we have secured a block of rooms at two hotels: Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto, which will also serve as the conference venue, and Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo. The latter is located approximately a 7-minute walk from Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto, offering easy access to the event.
The standard accommodation period is from November 28 (check-in) to December 2 (check-out). You may reserve your stay for any dates within this period according to your travel plans.

These rates cover the full stay during the conference period and include breakfast.
Of course, you are also welcome to arrange your own accommodations if you prefer.
Please note that late November to early December is peak autumn foliage season in Kyoto, and hotels tend to book up quickly. If you plan to make your own arrangements, we highly recommend booking as early as possible.
Please also be aware that the number of rooms available at Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto is limited. If you wish to stay at the conference venue, we encourage you to register as early as possible.
Submission of Extended Abstract
The extended abstract is limited within one page. It should contain title, author name(s), affiliation(s), keywords (no more than five keywords), and abstract including tables, figures, and references. The abstract should be submitted as a MS-Word file or an Adobe PDF file. The abstract template will be downloadable from the official website.. Please send your abstract via e-mail to
